Spent my xmas break in a hotel that was walking distance from the beach, perfect for lazy days sunbathing and swimming with the fishes. The food was delicious, with a variety of breakfast options and great service, always with a smile. A noteworthy plus was the hotel's beach beds, where they provided towels and water for guests, just what we needed on a hot day.

The hotel lacked modern amenities such as weak internet which was a struggle for streaming movies and staying connected. The room also did not offer fridges which made it difficult to keep our drinks cold.

Liyela Retreat Maldives in Maafushi is just amazing! Warm welcome, clean and comfy rooms, delicious food with breathtaking views, excellent hospitality from Lola and Shafu, unforgettable massage sessions. Can't wait to come back!

Not obvious to find.

the roof terrace was also a great spot to relax and enjoy the view. We loved watching the sunset from there every evening. the hotel is also located near the beach, which made it easy to go for a swim anytime we wanted.

We could hear people walking around in the halls and balcony, which made it difficult to sleep in.

The hotel has a great location close to the beach and harbor. Our room was cozy with a beautiful view of the ocean. the bathroom was spacious and modern, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. the breakfast was tasty with a good selection of food. the rooftop terrace was a nice place to relax with a stunning sunset view. the restaurant served delicious healthy meals with homemade ice-cream.

The Wi-Fi connection was weak in certain areas of the hotel.

We had a great experience at this hotel. The cleanliness was impressive and we appreciated the efforts of the housekeeping staff. The hotel facilities such as the restaurant and the 360 ocean view from the 4th floor were great and added to the overall experience. The staff members showed great hospitality and were always ready to help. Breakfast was scrumptious and well-presented. The location was ideal for our needs and we found the transportation convenient.

The hotel manager was absolutely fantastic, always attentive to our needs and ensuring we had a wonderful time. The rooms were incredibly comfortable and every detail was carefully thought out. We especially loved the rooftop restaurant with its breathtaking view of the beach. The food was divine and we couldn't get enough of it. Our anniversary was made extra special with lovely decorations and a homemade cake. We have truly made unforgettable memories here and can't wait to come back.
